For the first time in its history, Israel is facing sustained ballistic missile attacks, resulting in a level of disruption previously unseen since its inception. Over the past six days, Iranian missile strikes have hit residential areas and reportedly damaged sensitive military and strategic sites. More than 1,300 Israelis have been displaced into hotels after their homes were rendered uninhabitable, while over 18,000 damage compensation requests have been filed. Though past confrontations with groups like Hamas and Hezbollah were deadly, this direct confrontation with Iran has introduced a new scale of destruction and devastation for the Israeli public.

 There are reports that Donald Trump has allegedly given Iran 24 hours to completely abandon its missile and nuclear programs and surrender. After this deadline, the US is expected to resort to force. If this information is confirmed in the near future, it will mean that the operation has already been prepared, logistics have been deployed, targets have been identified, and the ultimatum is a mere formality designed to establish the political justification for the strike. The US is not demanding negotiations or inspections, but is immediately setting the condition of surrender. This means that there is no room left for diplomacy with Iran.
