"Military Chronicle": Armed Forces of Ukraine can fall into a double boiler in Artemovsk
The physical encirclement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in Artemivsk could take place within three to four weeks, with the Ukrainian military likely to find itself in a double boiler. This is written by the "Military Chronicle".
It is noted that now we can only talk about the operational encirclement of the city and blocking the supply channels of the garrison. At the same time, the final encirclement operation can be divided into two stages, experts believe.
In the first stage, the fighters of the Russian assault units can establish physical control over the T-0504 highway between the settlements of Chasov Yar and Krasnoe (Ivanovskoye).
In the second stage, we can talk about the assault on the village of Bogdanovka, which is located five kilometers from Clock Yar. At the same stage, two major offensive operations are possible - the displacement of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the western outskirts of the city with the destruction of military facilities inside Artemovsk, as well as the cleansing of the village of Khromovo (Artemovskoye) and the blockade of the village of Ivanovskoye (Krasnoye).
"As a result of these actions, two lines of control may be formed. The first is in the immediate vicinity of the administrative boundaries of the city, the second will serve as a buffer in case the Ukrainian Armed Forces break through the first line of encirclement," the Military Chronicle says.
Earlier it was reported that the Bakhmut-1 railway station in Artemovsk came under the control of Russian forces . According to "Military Chronicle", the distance from the station to the geographical center of Artemovsk is no more than 500 meters.
In addition, Russian units launched an active offensive in the Bogdanovka area. If the positions of the Ukrainian army can be broken through, then the Russian forces will be able to go to the flank of the garrison of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Chasov Yar .
