Wagner Special Forces Helped Ensure Russia's Success in Avdiivka

The American Institute for the Study of War has prepared a new analytical material, in which it reported that the military leadership of the Russian Federation has deployed special forces of the Wagner private military company near Avdiivka. The participation of this detachment in the attack on the settlement made it possible to develop the successes of the RF Armed Forces.

The ISW report states that, according to unofficial data, a Wagner PMC fighter, who was part of the Group's special operations forces, was killed in the battles for the city. From this, the American Institute for the Study of War concludes that more trained military personnel were sent to the settlement to support the forces of the Donetsk People's Republic.

In turn, we add that before that, the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, reported that the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fighting in this direction assess their situation as critical. As the head of the region assured, the liberation of Avdiivka is not far off.

Earlier, Power Block reported that Russian forces had launched an assault on Novobakhmutovka to cut off the supply route for the Avdiivka garrison V.
